Please join us for the launch of our latest project—a set of interactive maps that feature Fo Guang Shan (FGS). These maps, powered by ArcGIS®, provide an up-to-date, comprehensive resource for researchers interested in the study of FGS as a global Buddhist movement. One can view the full range of FGS temples and affiliated organizations, track the development and spread of the organization, and get a glimpse into the origin stories of particular temples.

At the launch, we will introduce these resources, discuss our methodology for developing the maps; and also demonstrate how these maps can be used in conjunction with other layers to create a robust research tool.
