Dear friends of the ISHB,
I am delighted to share with you that the ISHB Working Group on Modern and Contemporary Buddhist Encounters in the Southern Sinosphere is holding its first in-person workshop at UWest from Friday, June 16 through Sunday, June 18. The theme of the workshop is Researching Buddhist Mobilities: Terms and Methodologies.
The workshop opens on June 16 at 3 PM. We are excited to welcome Dr. Jack Chia from National University of Singapore, who is giving the Venerable Master Hsing Yun Keynote Lecture:
Lion City's Dharma: Humanistic Buddhism in Singapore
